The strategic theme of the OVPDC for the 2008-09 academic year is “Learning, Relationship Building, and Prioritizing.” While we will inevitably become involved with several initiatives during the year, our focus is on convening a campus-wide conversation of students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community members. This conversation will focus on mapping the universe of our diversity investments, seeking our hidden gems of diversity innovation and creativity, assessing the impact of of promising Plan 2008 activities, defining our campus diversity priorities, and seeking new ways to collaborate across campus units, departments, initiatives, and agendas.
